You enumerate all possibilities: getting 5 correct, then 6 correct, then 7 correct, then all 8 correct. Then add the results.

Computing the probability depends upon how many numbers are on the KENO board. Call that number be x. It also depends upon the number of numbers the person can choose. Call that number y.

Probability of getting 5 correct:
[8 choose 5] ways to select 5 of the 8 that appeared
[x-8 choose y-5] ways of selecting the remaining y-5 numbers that don’t match.
multiply those together and divide by the total number of ways of selecting y numbers from x, [x choose y].

You can do similarly for counting the probability of getting any number of numbers correct. Then just add those probabilities.
